The fear that someone would go on a spending spree with your money often caused frantic calls to banks and credit card companies to cancel the cards in your lost wallet. Digital receipt startup Lemon seeks to do away with the drama with its mobile app that backs up everything in your wallet, receipts and all. The company announced Tuesday it raised a $8 million funding round.

T-Mobile will soon have nearly 1 million new wireless connections on its network, but they won?t be smartphones. �T-Mobile is linking its 2G network to hundreds of thousands of ice machines ? that?s right, I?m talking about those refrigerated boxes outside of grocery stores and gas stations containing bagged ice.
Raco Wireless, T-Mobile?s machine-to-machine communications outsourcer, is working with an ice machine vendor to connect hundreds of thousands of these machines across the country, Raco President John Horn told me at the Connected World conference this week. Facebook CTO Bret Taylor to Leave 'later This Summer'

Facebook's chief technology officer, Bret Taylor, will leave the company later this summer, according to a post on his Facebook page Friday.
Taylor will launch a new venture with Kevin Gibbs, a former technology lead at Google. He didn't give any details of those plans Friday.
"I'm very proud of our recent accomplishments in our platform and mobile products, from Open Graph and App Center to Facebook Camera and our iOS integration. I'm even more excited for the world to see all the amazing things these teams have coming," he wrote.
Taylor joined Facebook in 2009 after leaving his startup FriendFeed, a social networking aggregator. Like Gibbs, Taylor also once worked at Google.
