Lumia 900 goes to college: Seton Hall freshmen get Nokia Windows Phones
Posted by VentureBeat
It may not make up for the years of student loan payments, but freshman students at Seton Hall University are getting a big freebie: their very own Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phones.
Seton Hall is handing out the devices as a part of a larger technology push spearheaded by the university’s Center forMobile Research and Innovation. Along with the phones, students will also get prepaid service that will last them through their first semester.
Much of the benefit with the program will come in the form of twoparticularapps: SHU Mobile, and the Freshman Experience Hub. While the former is multi-platform, the latter wasdesignedspecifically for the Lumia 900, and allows students to message[...]

To Be Clear, Siri Is Not Coming To The iPhone 4 Or iPad 2 (Update)
Posted by TechCrunch
It’s understandable why you might have been confused. Apple made Siri’s expansion about as clear as mud yesterday at Apple’s WWDC keynote.
She learns more, moves to the iPad, gets all kinds of new integrations in iOS 6 (which most certainly will come to your iPhone 4/3GS), but does she actually hop on over to the new hardware and chat at you like the condescending connectivity-challenged genius that she is?

But where do all these founders, designers, and developers spend their early days?
While renting a “real” office is out of the question for even those who land funding thanks to high price of real estate in the area, many startups set up shop in much cheaper cafs or co-working spaces. Here’s a quick breakdown of some of our favorite spaces to w[...]
