Box Kicks off International Expansion With Launch of European HQ

Box will announce on Tuesday the opening of its European headquarters in London, as the company seeks to boost sales of its cloud-hosted enterprise collaboration and content management software in the region.
Already, 40 percent of Box's 11 million users are located in Europe, where demand for the company's product has been growing very fast, said Box CEO Aaron Levie.
"This represents the start of our European expansion," he said, adding that the company expects to have about 100 employees in Europe by next year.

Dropcam has been busy. The video monitoring start-up just released an Android app that brings a better experience to the mobile platform. The new app is built natively for Android rather than using Adobe Air and provides live video, two-way audio and free motion alerts through a better user interface. The company said today in a press release that the app was built to better match the iOS version.
The company also took to the wires this morning to announce $12m in Series B funding. Menlo Ventures led the round, with existing investors Accel Partners and Bay Partners participating as well, bringing the total amount raised to $17.8M.
